E-commerce major Amazon reported 11 crore customer visits and saw over 8,000 sellers surpassing Rs 1 lakh in sales in the first 48 hours of Amazon Great Indian Festival 2024, the company said in a media release. Indian Beverage Association on Monday called for rationalisation of GST structure on non-alcoholic beverages and levy taxes based on sugar content, saying with favourable policy the sector has the potential to grow to a size of Rs 1.5 lakh crore by 2030. Candytoy Corporate, one of the leading manufacturers of candy toys, has partnered with Reliance Retail to supply confectionery toys for 1,400 stores of the country's leading retailer, said a top company official. The Indore-based company entered into an agreement with Reliance Retail a couple of months back, said founder Director Gaurav Mirchandani. Parag Milk Foods has broadened its Avvatar whey protein range, targeting a 20-25 per cent market share by 2027-28.
