Few things were resonating with me and are great lessons for everyone
1. Move planning from a noun describing a function to planning as a verb meaning a core competency/capability
2. Measure process related KPIs such as “touchless” and “net promoter score” as an input metrics that will drive the output metrics such as inventory, service level, cost efficiency
3. Systematic investment into people upskilling by offering foundational 101 courses, through intermediate 201 planning courses through 301 expert courses is the only way to create high performing planning teams across all key functional domains.
