Nothing epitomizes our commitment to sustainable manufacturing like the Quincy bed, one of our most beloved pieces of furniture.
It all begins in Beecher Falls, Vermont, with logs that we source from responsibly managed Appalachian forests, and keep wet with low-flow sprinklers to conserve water. Logs are milled, then the lumber is dried in kilns heated with recycled wood chips and sawdust—all in a facility that uses energy-efficient lighting.
Once it’s ready, the lumber takes a short trip to Orleans, Vermont, a factory that hasn’t burned #4 fuel oil in more than a decade. After the furniture is fashioned, its finish is applied using low-HAP, low-VOC compounds for a healthier home.

🌍 Celebrating World Environment Day with Comer & Cross 🌍
At Comer and Cross, we believe that caring for the environment is a shared responsibility. Today, on World Environment Day, we reaffirm our commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
Polyaspartic Concrete Coatings from Comer & Cross are the sustainable choice for environmentally conscious businesses. Here’s why:
🔸Low VOCs: Quality polyaspartic floor coatings are considered environmentally friendly. They have low to ultra-low levels of VOCs (volatile organic compounds), which are chemicals found in many products that slowly off-gas.
🔸Energy Efficient: Rapid curing reduces energy consumption and downtime.
🔸Durable & Long-Lasting: A Longer lifespan means fewer reapplications and less waste.
🔸UV Resistant: Minimizes the need for replacements, saving resources.
🔸Safe Application: Contains no hazardous isocyanates and has minimal odor.
🔸Versatile & Efficient: Fewer coats are needed compared to traditional coatings.
With our polyaspartic coatings, you’re not just getting a superior product; you’re also making a sustainable choice that benefits both you and the environment. 🌍✨
