I came across an interesting article about the Van Gogh exhibition at the Musée d’Orsay in Paris that recently set a new record, attracting a whopping 793,556 visitors in just four months with its very experiential, tactile and immersive Vincent van Gogh exhibition. When I visited "Van Gogh in Auvers-sur-Oise: The Final Months," in December last year, I was amazed by the seamless integration of art and experiential technology right from when you queue up to enter the exhibition halls to the multiple different pockets of experiences integrated within the exhibition design. I particularly liked the “Hello Vincent” interactive experience which used AI trained on Van Gogh's letters and biographies to bring the artist to life. One could engage in one-on-one conversations with the A.I. van Gogh and get real-time responses, in a way that Van Gogh may respond. There were multiple such fascinating art and tech explorations inviting the viewer to engage with some of his most seminal works. The numbers speak for themselves — cleverly using experiential tech made the art more accessible, interactive, and emotionally resonant. As an advocate for making art more accessible, seeing this exhibit was a powerful reminder that museums, foundations, galleries and other exhibition makers today cannot shy away from doing things differently. I found a new way to create AR/AI WebApps. 🔬 This approach offers us the opportunity to sublime Augmented Reality with Artificial Intelligence using chatbots, image-to-video, and image-to-3D technologies. It is entirely customizable using only HTML/CSS/JS and JavaScript frameworks like A-frame, ArJS, MindAr and ThreeJS. It also can work in addition with ThirdWeb for NFT minting ! 🕊 No subscription, no Unity required. ☁️ At least for the part without the OpenAI API or other cloud services. Getting chatbots to work in live stream mode still necessitates colossal computing power, so we need to borrow some cloud services.
