Yes, even in the 40 degree heat on Tuesday! Previously in my career, I've been limited due to supporting companies in the USA, Europe and The Middle East from the UK. Here's why I think meeting potential clients and candidates in person is so powerful: 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 - There's something about being in the same room that creates trust and rapport faster than any email or Teams call can. 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 - You can pick-up on non-verbal cues like body language and energy. 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 - No waiting for replies or misinterpreting the tone. You can adjust and refine your approach on the spot. 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 - Showing up in person demonstrates commitment, professionalism and shows you're invested in their success.
