EMPLOYMENT ELIGIBILITY CHECKER To support potential applicants to be aware of the current nationality and right to work requirements (which are within Candidate Information Booklets) for employment in the Civil Service, People & Organisational Development (P&OD) in collaboration with NICS Race and Ethnicity Network (REN) have developed section on #nationality and #righttowork guidance, including FAQs and Eligibility Checker. This is to promote #visibility and #accessibility to that information early on when potential applicants are considering opportunities. Your desire to contribute to the #socialpolicy sector is true commendable. #Testimony- "Coming from London to Belfast was a big shift for me, in terms of finding my feet and voice. Luckily enough for me, I met EMEEN an organisation which uplifts ethnic minorities by helping individuals rediscover their identity in a new environment, whilst guiding them through the employment world. EMEEN allowed me to rediscover my passion for justice in Belfast and pushed me to prestigious organisations such as the Washington Ireland Program 2024 (WIP). I underwent 8 weeks of intense leadership training whilst researching ways the police can reconcile its relationship with young people in Belfast. It also opened doors for me to meet prominent people such as Eoghan Finn a parliamentary assistant at Houses of the Oireachtas. I cannot be more grateful to EMEEN for pushing me to this opportunity as it allowed me to learn valuable lessons and has facilitated my growth as a young leader.
