Our recent paper, "Frailty efficacy as a predictor of clinical and cognitive complications in patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting: a prospective cohort study," has just been published in BMC Cardiovascular Disorders- Springer Nature Group. Our result demonstrated that frailty can be utilized as an efficient predictive factor of postoperative clinical complications and independence level in the elderly population undergoing #CABG. However, while baseline depression and cognitive function were associated with frailty status, the postoperative scores' association with frailty did not reach the significance level. Please find the link below: https://lnkd.in/entPDt86 I want to extend my sincere gratitude to Dr.Kaveh Hosseini for invaluable guidance and support throughout this study; moreover, many thanks to all my co-authors for their dedication to the project. #frailty #coronaryarterydisease #cognitivefunction

April is #EHEawareness month. Please like and share these facts! 📌 EHE patients should be managed by a multidisciplinary team of sarcoma specialists who are familiar with the variability of this disease. 🟡 Clinicians who are experts in managing sarcoma are often found at large academic medical centers or sarcoma reference centers. 🔴 Due to the ultra-rare and highly variable nature of #EHE, patients should be treated at centers including sarcoma expert medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and palliative care specialists. Detailed information about #EHE is available on FightEHE.org. Look for the Consensus Paper on EHE Management under the Quick Links on our homepage. #epithelioidhemangioendothelioma #ultrararesarcoma #EHEFoundation #theEHEFoundation #EHEcancer #justlive #sarcoma #raredisease #EHEresearch #EHEawareness
