New Post: Future Debuts All 17 Songs From ‘Mixtape Pluto’ on Hot 100 - https://lnkd.in/gXXHagqW - Future is back with another huge week on Billboard’s charts. His new project, Mixtape Pluto, debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 (dated Oct. 5) with 129,00 equivalent album units earned in the United States in its opening week (Sept. 20-26), according to Luminate, and all 17 of its songs debut on the Billboard Hot 100. Future earns his 11th No. 1 on the Billboard 200, tying Eminem, Bruce Springsteen, Barbra Streisand and Ye (formerly known as Kanye West) for the fifth-most in the chart’s history. It’s also Future’s third No. 1 of 2024, all tallied over six months – making him the first soloist to score a trio of leaders in a six-month span. Below is a recap of all 17 of Future’s songs on the latest Hot 100, all of which are debuts – and all of which are with no other billed artists. Rank, Title No. 21, “Teflon Don” No. 23, “Too Fast” No. 25, “Lil Demon” No. 26, “Ski” No. 29, “Plutoski” No. 42, “Ready to Cook Up” No. 46, “Ocean” No. 57, “South of France” No. 59, “Brazzier” No. 61, “Press the Button” No. 63, “Surfing a Tsunami” No. 68, “MJ” No. 70, “Oath” No. 80, “Aye Say Gang” No. 81, “Told My” No. 83, “Lost My Dog” No. 85, “Made My Hoe Faint” Future logs an 18th song on the latest Hot 100. His former three-week No. 1, “Like That” with Metro Boomin and Kendrick Lamar, ranks at No. 39 in its 27th week on the chart. Future has now charted 217 songs on the Hot 100 in his career. He surpasses the Glee cast, with 207, for the third-most in the chart’s 66-year history, after only Drake (338) and Taylor Swift (264). Plus, Future has charted 49 songs in 2024 alone, surpassing Swift (36) and Metro Boomin (35) for the most. The sum is the fourth-best ever for an act in a calendar year, after only the Glee cast’s 80 entries in 2010 and 77 in 2011 and Swift’s 54 in 2023. - #news #business #world #jobs #school #passion

My favorite Michael Jackson song and music video, since I was very young, has always been Thriller. Since completing this caricature, it has become one of the most recognized caricatures in my portfolio thanks to my tent banners. This was such a fun piece to complete. Why It Matters
Hello all. This is a music video I wrote and produced for the city of Lewiston, Maine to help heal the pain felt from the tragic mass shooting last October. https://lnkd.in/gtCjG7Tj

More artists should lean in to creating multiple versions and remixes of songs they believe in. Every time you release a new version or remix, you give your single a new opportunity to reach new listeners and bring awareness to the original song. For example, “FOREVER” by the rotating collective I founded, Vince & The Valholla Empire featuring ADN Lewis has over 10 versions (not including instrumentals) has over 400K on demand streams and a number of versions have been featured on editorial playlists. Every time we release a new version it gets new life. This strategy might not be a fit for every song but you should implement it in one way or another. What is the highest number of versions you’ve released for a song you believed in? #musinbusiness #recordingartists

As promised, this is the full title of the album shown in the video. "The Boy Bands Have Won, and All the Copyists and the Tribute Bands and the TV Talent Show Producers Have Won, If We Allow Our Culture to Be Shaped by Mimicry, Whether from Lack of Ideas or from Exaggerated Respect. You Should Never Try to Freeze Culture. What You Can Do Is Recycle That Culture. Take Your Older Brother's Hand-Me-Down Jacket and Re-Style It, Re-Fashion It to the Point Where It Becomes Your Own. But Don't Just Regurgitate Creative History, or Hold Art and Music and Literature as Fixed, Untouchable and Kept Under Glass. The People Who Try to 'Guard* Any Particular Form of Music Are, Like the Copyists and Manufactured Bands, Doing It the Worst Disservice, Because the Only Thing That You Can Do to Music That Will Damage It Is Not Change It, Not Make It Your Own. Because Then It Dies, Then It's Over, Then It's Done, and the Boy Bands Have Won." Safe to say, Silviu was 100% correct when he said it'd take him more than a minute to read it for you. What other interesting facts about the music industry do you know? #creativity #education #personalbranding
