Études becomes Études Studio. “Études” means studies. “Studio” means artist's workspace. Our new brand identity redefines a creative dialogue between art and fashion, and catalyzes encounters between different disciplines. Graphic Design by Spassky Fischer #ÉtudesStudio

Find yourself always procrastinating in your design process? Embrace it! Article with Marie Claire Australia "Play is the most essential part of my creative process. Especially when reinventing classic silhouettes like with this collection, play meant that my mind could wander through ideas and iterations freely. I love to distract myself in this stage of the process, watching movies, documentaries and a bit of procrastination here and there. Really trying to provoke my inner child to show itself. It's always present but play and experimentation really brings it out." Full article link: https://lnkd.in/gG9K_Qh7 #designer #fashiondesign #creativeprocess

Founder | Rohini Priyadarshi | Architecture is Poem in Eternity | Design Has the Privilege to Dictate Its Freedom | Interior Design | Art Therapy
The whole read surpasses the field of advertising. In my view, it covers the world of art and design too in all magnitudes. A thought-provoking read. #read #art #advertising
"White Trash: The Death of Art Direction" critiques the decline of art direction in modern design, highlighting the overuse of minimalistic, 'less-is-more' aesthetics like white backgrounds and 'sans-serification'. It argues that this approach has led to a homogenization of visual culture, stripping creativity and emotional depth from design. The piece calls for a return to more diverse, expressive, and story-driven art direction that values individuality over uniformity. "Recreating simplistic studio shoots by Penn, Miesel and (most commonly) Avedon seems certainly like a nice idea in the weeks running up to a shoot. But as the weeks fly by, and options of talent and team rotate and drop out, it all becomes a little bit sadder and more watered down. It’s a bit like painting a wall blue and telling yourself it’s giving Yves Klein, or tossing some paint at a canvas and calling it Pollock - it’s cute but it’s not an artwork." https://lnkd.in/dRGDCS-y

What is the color trend in graphic design in 2024? In 2024, as brands and designers lean into bold self-expression and experimentation, some are inspired by traditionally regal hues—rich or “tyrian” purple, bold red, royal blue and gold. #graphicdesign #graphicdesigner #designers #designerlife #uiuxdesign #uiuxdesigner #gamedesign #art #purple #golden #tranding #2024trends

Creativity 🎨 vs Craftsmanship ✒ : What’s more important in 2024? In a world filled with endless logos, songs, and fashion styles, the quest for originality constantly becomes more challenging. But, is true originality even possible when you consider that everything created, was inspired by something before it to some degree? In 2024, the challenge in graphic design lies in trying to generate fresh ideas without violating trademarks! Perhaps, it's time to shift our focus from the pressure of creating entirely revolutionary pieces to valuing the "how" rather than the "what." I often put pressure on myself to ditch every idea that is similar to something done before, but I feel this is a great reminder to creative people that complete originality is not the only thing that matters. Embrace the creative JOURNEY, appreciate the CRAFTSMANSHIP in the outcome, and recognize why you’re creating in the first place. #Creativity #Craftsmanship #Takethepressureoff

Brand Designer – helping brands gain identification and attention through impactful Visual Identity Designs | Logo Designer | Brand Identity Designer
"When art is truly great, you don't link it to a particular period; it becomes timeless." – Simon de Pury, a Swiss auctioneer, in the Rolls-Royce Inspiring Greatness series. These words resonate deeply with me as I share a similar belief about logo designs. I believe in the timeless quality of a logo and its ability to last for many years, rather than just following current trends. #TimelessDesign #TimelessArt #Art #LogoDesign #logo #uniquelogo #creativelogo #timelesslogo #GraphicDesign #DesignInspiration #CreativeDesign #ArtAndDesign #Branding #DesignTrends #SimonDePury #InspiringGreatness #DesignPhilosophy #LogosThatLast #DesignCommunity #BrandIdentity #VisualIdentity #DesignThinking #sinethsandun

🌺 Embracing the Spirit of Frida: Where Art and Design Collide 🎨 I don’t post on here much, but I figured its time for a change. My feed is constantly filled with some very interesting but serious topics, and I want to help break that up a little bit by talking about some things that inspire me outside of work. As a graphic designer I am forever inspired by Frida Kahlo and fuelled by the passion she had for her art, I find solace in her exploration of identity, gender, and class. She often mixed realism with fantasy to help express her struggles and life. Frida's unapologetic self-expression and bold use of colour resonate deeply with me. In the realm of graphic design, we have the power to weave narratives, evoke emotions, and transcend boundaries—all of which Frida masterfully accomplished on canvas. Just as Frida fearlessly painted her own reality, I strive to infuse my designs with authenticity and a touch of surrealism. It's not just about creating aesthetically pleasing visuals; it's about telling stories that resonate, challenge norms, and celebrate diversity. In the ever-evolving world of design, I believe we can draw inspiration from Frida's ability to blend traditional elements with avant-garde creativity. Let's embrace the fusion of cultures, styles, and perspectives in our designs, mirroring the rich tapestry of Frida's own life. Collaboration is key, and I'm eager to connect with fellow designers, artists, and enthusiasts who share a love for pushing creative boundaries. Let's celebrate the kaleidoscope of possibilities that art and design offer, guided by the indomitable spirit of Frida Kahlo. 🌈💪 #graphicdesign #artinspiration #FridaKahloSpirit #creativityunleashed #designcommunity #AuthenticityInDesign
