It’s been a little while since I posted an update on my EV journey with my iX 50. We’re approaching 5000 miles now and as the temperatures are becoming more Spring-like, I’ve seen a big change to the range of the car. Having also had the pleasure of an iX2 for the last few weeks I’ve only been using the iX for longer trips, and todays charge showed an astonishing anticipated range of over 380 miles. This is not only again, above the WLTP figures for this model, but such a useable range and I’m really interested to see if we can reach that golden 400 miles - even before using the “max range” function. EDIT: a second charge this afternoon up to 100% got a massive 406 miles in efficient mode and 484 with max range activated!! Incredible. This car continues to be one of my favourite ever vehicles to live with and drive - both for its comfort, power and ease of use. Given the longer journeys I have to do it’s never tiring and I arrive at my destinations feeling fresh and relaxed. #bmwix #bornelectric #evjourney #ev #electriccar #bmw #ix50
