One of the aims of the new #TENTRegulation is to harmonise communication between #EU #MemberStates and #European institutions. To do this, the #TENtec system is being developed. When fully functional, the system is expected to speed up the exchange of information and accelerate the compiling of reports and maps of the corridors. European Partnership for Water Security for the Planet (Water4All - Partnership) : Horizon Europe and the green transition : interim evaluation support study This evaluation report is part of the interim evaluation of #Horizon_Europe activities related to the Green Transition. It presents the assessment of the Co-Funded European Partnership Water4All against the evaluation criteria of relevance, coherence, efficiency, effectiveness, EU added value, additionality, directionality, international positioning and visibility, transparency and openness as well as phasing out preparedness. The evaluation of the partnership is based upon a mixed-method approach including quantitative and qualitative data analysis.

At your service. 🚨 Main news is that the European Commission PROPOSES a phasing-in period of 12 months. 🤔 I am very curious to see how this proposal will be received by the European Council (= heads of state / governments of all 27 member states) and the European Parliament (705 Members), both of which will have to adopt/approve it before this proposal may become a reality. 🔀 And the composition of both has changed significantly since the EUDR was adopted (9 June 2023). ⚖ Will they adopt it? And by when? This will take time. Maybe weeks, maybe months. 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲! The PLATINA4Action project develops a ‘Digital Twin’ tool for evaluation of European IWT policies. This tool supports assessment of impact of NAIADES III and preparation of NAIADES IV. The new report sets the base for the Digital Twin by defining scenarios and key performance indicators (KPIs) to contribute to EU policy goals from the EU Green Deal and the Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy. ▶️ Download the report here: bit.ly/4jKJm4G

📢 𝗘𝗨𝗗𝗥 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲: 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁? On November 14th, the European Parliament voted to postpone the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), supporting the Commission’s proposal for an additional 12-month phasing-in period. MEP Schneider (EPP) also proposed key amendments, including a “no-risk” category, which are now under review. The file has returned to the ENVI Committee, with trilogues set to begin soon. Possible outcomes include: 1️⃣ Adoption of the Council's amendments, introducing a delay and a “no-risk” category. 2️⃣ No agreement during trilogues, leading to EUDR enforcement by year-end. 3️⃣ A compromise between Parliament and Council. This evolving situation adds significant uncertainty to the market, as many operators remain underprepared for the transformative changes EUDR will bring.
