I’ve shared a suggestion around Wellcome Trust's bioimaging funding call before, but this article provides an overview of our wider plans for bioimaging in discovery research.   Infrastructure and technology challenges are holding back progress in bioimaging.   But if we can overcome high equipment costs, improve access to facilities and build technical skills, we will gain new insights into biological processes.   Wellcome Trust is prioritising these efforts as part of a series of activities, with particular focus on researchers working in low- and middle-income countries.   https://lnkd.in/diT-Ws5n
