🔔ATTENTION VIEWERS🔔 Ever wondered what's REALLY in that black smoke? Our new video exposes the shocking truth about #burningtyres and the toxic air they pump into our lungs! #didyouknow that burning tyres can release toxic chemicals such as carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, and particulate matter into the atmosphere? These pollutants can cause serious respiratory and cardiovascular diseases, which could eventually lead to death. 🚫💨 Not only that, but the smoke from burning tyres can also have a more immediate effect on humans. It can irritate the eyes, nose, and throat, causing headaches and even resulting in #lungcancer🦠. Furthermore, the smoke contributes to the development of #smog, which can lower air quality and visibility. 🌫️ Let's take a stand against the burning of tyres and protect our health and environment. Back in the nineteenth century or so, industries pouring out smoke through the stacks were considered signs of progress and prosperity. However, that changed when the effects of the emissions became apparent, including smog, acid rain, and respiratory diseases. Nowadays, the smoke is usually much cleaner thanks to more efficient production processes and flue gas treatment, but there’s still smoke. What’s in it? #smoke #opsis #gasmonitoring

🚨 Protect Yourself from Carbon Monoxide Poisoning 🚨 Carbon monoxide is a silent but deadly threat in both industrial and residential settings. This odorless, colorless gas can be produced by the incomplete burning of various fuels, including natural gas, gasoline, and propane. Without proper detection, it can quickly lead to serious health complications or even death. According to the CDC, hundreds of lives are lost each year in the U.S. due to accidental carbon monoxide poisoning, with tens of thousands more experiencing its harmful effects. With winter being a peak season for exposure, it's crucial to be aware of the risks and take preventative measures. Here are some simple steps you can take to minimize your risk of carbon monoxide exposure: 1️⃣ Avoid using gas appliances as heat sources indoors. 2️⃣ Never leave vehicles running in enclosed spaces, such as garages. 3️⃣ Keep fuel-fired generators or engines at least 20 feet away from living areas and use a battery-powered carbon monoxide detector. 4️⃣ Never use camp stoves, hibachis, or grills indoors, even near open windows. Recognizing the symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning is also critical for early intervention: Low to moderate exposure: Headache, dizziness, weakness High-level exposure: Nausea, rapid heartbeat, shortness of breath, seizures If you suspect carbon monoxide poisoning, act quickly: 1️⃣ Move to fresh air immediately. 2️⃣ Ventilate the area by opening windows and doors. 3️⃣ Seek medical attention if symptoms persist or worsen. Remember, never ignore the warning signs from your carbon monoxide alarm. Your safety is paramount, and taking prompt action can save lives. #CarbonMonoxideAwareness #SafetyFirst 🛡️

Methane and carbon dioxide make up over 95% of the gases emitted by landfills, as studies in the US have shown. If you’re operating machinery like compactors that spend all day driving over these gas-leaching landfills, you could be putting your health at serious risk. Without proper protection, these dangerous gases and vapors can seep into your cab through tiny gaps in door and window seals. To keep them out, your cab needs to be overpressurized, creating a protective barrier. But that’s not all—you also need carbon filters to ensure the air you’re breathing inside the cab is free from these harmful gases. Don’t take chances with your health.
