Using inverse virtual screening, PocketVec overcomes key limitations in drug discovery strategies! 💡 Using PocketVec, the team conducted a comprehensive human proteome analysis, identifying over 32,000 binding sites across 20,000 protein domains. Continuous production of extracellular vesicles derived from immortalised MSCs: in their latest work, Sergio Garcia Garcia, Marta San Roque, Marcella Franquesa and collaborators at Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP) developed a protocol based on a hollow fiber bioreactor system to achieve continuous, homogeneous production of functional and high-quality MSC-EVs https://lnkd.in/eR7i5qMc Their findings revealed that the bioreactor system enables the production of 3D-cultured MSC-derived EVs that are similar to flask (2D)-cultured EVs in terms of protein and lipid content, size, phenotype, and functionality.
