If you are in a leadership role, the focus should be on providing a safe environment for your team by serving them and not serving yourself from them by encouraging open dialogue, active listening, and respectful communication. Create spaces where team members feel safe to express their thoughts, ideas, and concerns without fear of judgment or reprisal. Foster a culture that values diverse perspectives and encourages constructive feedback!!

Ego can lead to reckless and impulsive decisions, create conflicts and damaged relationships. stops recognizing own flaws & weaknesses and not admitting the mistakes may stops learning, it may lead to stress and anxiety, it tesults in difficulty in receiving constructive feedback, a person who is too proud to ask for help or collaborate with others can lead to missed opportunities, ego-centric attitude can lead to a lack of understanding and compassion for others and it may lead to conflicts and power struggles. #management #hr #icmap #ceo #icap

The assumption is to work towards connection. But this does not understand the nature of connection. We ARE connected. We have never not been connected. It’s just that there are things that prevent us realizing/seeing this. It’s the subtraction of ‘everything’ that allows us to experience that we are and always have been connected to all people, ourselves included. That is a place we from where we can run freely (see below). The over orchestration of ‘development activities’ as Shonna puts it, is likely to prevent the experience altogether. Or give a faux sense of it (unless the activity contains a moment of clear space between us, or you and ‘the sky’). This re-connection is the profound experience at the heart of these days. Far beyond the experience of the mind. And it is this hallowed atmosphere in which we are in an extraordinary place to ‘work on leadership’ from. This is work of the deep deep interior world. It reminds me of ‘Run’. A short written piece in which there is a stark difference between slowing down, and stopping. audio film here - https://lnkd.in/gPNyY37s ~ ‘Run’ Run. Run until you can hide no more. Headlong towards a life of importance. And the person worthy of a place in this World. Run until the pain becomes inexplicable. Unbearable. Until you feel your very soul bleeding dry. And then stop. Stop dead. Beyond the delusion of slowing down. Which is still running. Stop. So that you stand face to face with the uncertainty of darkness. For it’s in this darkness that you’ll remember that you are the light. And from there you will run freely. With no need to hide.
