European Vaccine Initiative (EVI)’s Post

We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Nicola Viebig back to European Vaccine Initiative (EVI) as our Director of Research! With 25+ years of experience in infectious diseases and extensive expertise managing international #vaccine development projects, Nicola brings exceptional #leadership to EVI. Previously EVI's Chief Scientific Officer, she most recently served as Director R&D Program Management at BioNTech SE. Her journey includes a PhD at Heidelberg University, postdoctoral work at the Institut Pasteur, and mentoring young researchers worldwide. We’re excited to have her back as we continue advancing vaccines for diseases of poverty and emerging infections. Welcome, Nicola! 🎉
