Corporate strategy #Sustainability – Schülke & Mayr GmbH is awarded by Ecovadis with the GOLD medal! The Schülke & Mayr GmbH (schülke) Group has  once again successfully passed the Ecovadis scoring and was able to significantly improve its result in the year of 2023: Awarded with the gold medal, #schülke is now amongst the top four percent of companies in its industry sector. The current award highlights the pioneering role of #schülke within the industry in terms of corporate #sustainability. In addition to its ecologically sustainable actions, social and economic #sustainability are also deeply rooted within the company. In a globalized world, #schülke thus assumes responsibility for current and future generations. What exactly does Ecovadis evaluate? The international platform is one of the world's largest and most reliable providers of sustainability ratings. Ecovadis facilitates customers to find out about the sustainable actions of companies and to compare them with each other. It assesses how well a company has integrated the principles of sustainability/CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) into its business and management system. Ecovardis does this on the basis of a catalog which consists of 21 sustainability criteria divided into four topics: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. #schülke's path to receiving the Ecovadis Gold Rating Sustainability is deeply rooted in the business strategy of Schülke & Mayr GmbH: schülke drives innovations, optimizes its supply chains and further develops the design of its products in order to continuously improve the company's ecological footprint, to make energy and material cycles more efficient and enhance social standards worldwide. 𝐘𝐞ş𝐢𝐦 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐬 “𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲” IAF's corporate member Yeşim Group published the 14th Sustainability Report, which it has prepared every year since 2009 within the framework of the Global Compact. Based on 2023 data, the report once again demonstrated Yeşim Group’s commitment to sustainability. Yeşim Group presented its Sustainability Report, which it started to publish in the form of a survey system since 2022, in the same format this year. The new reporting system developed by the UN Global Compact allows members to transparently share their sustainability performance and increase their brand value. Read more 👇

United Nations recognizes Reynaers Group's sustainability initiatives From now on, Reynaers Group can call itself an SDG Pioneer. Last week, for example, we received the internationally recognized certificate as a reward for our sustainability efforts. The certificate, awarded by the United Nations, honours the companies that have taken successful actions to make their company policy more sustainable following an intensive process. What does SDG Pioneer stand for? Through a normal 3-year process, a company must be able to demonstrate that it uses the 17 sustainability goals of the United Nations (called SDGs or Sustainable Development Goals) as a compass in a sustainable and future-oriented business policy. In order to make progress economically, socially and ecologically. A fun fact is that we were able to complete the entire process in just one year instead of three years by demonstrating a good sustainable policy under the name of Reynaers ACT. Together for better!

From Concept to Collection !

Great news at Marc Kolor Sp z o.o. !!! As every year, we were assessed by #EcoVadis. EcoVadis is a rating company that judges the activities and practices of suppliers in terms of corporate social responsibility. The possible score is on a scale from 0 to 100 points in four categories environment, social activities, ethics and supply chain. Suppliers are assessed in terms of corporate social responsibility, taking into account their sector of activity, size and location.   This year we managed to raise our level from bronze to silver, which means that our company is among the top 8% of companies rated by EcoVadis in the category of „other manufacturing”. For our achievements and our bold mission we have been awarded in 2020 with the UN Global Action Award and recognized in 2023 by TIME magazine to be one of the 100 most influential companies worldwide. We’ve been reflecting on the lessons learned during the past 5 decades—from making the business case for sustainability to how we engage with employees and customers. @Liz Minne shared our most important lessons in @Sustainable Brands for others who want to set out on a similar path.
