Week 30 - LSBB Standard Work Training Week Group 1 traveled to FST Spain this week to support the newly built factory with Standard Work implementation. They completed two challenging projects, showcasing excellent teamwork and leadership. Group 1, led by Sascha, tackled the more difficult project of implementing Standard Work in a new automated cell. Despite initial stability issues, they conducted a lean assessment, documented all problems within an hour, and devised a plan to address them. Team 2, led by Jessy, focused on the dipping area to support capacity issues. Both teams excelled in understanding and documenting potential improvements, as well as generating Standard Work for their respective cells. They effectively communicated with the workforce, gathered valuable insights, and discussed improvement ideas. After drafting the documents, they trained the operators on the new standards and tested them for a few hours. The operators appreciated the clear steps outlined in the new documents. _Week 2: The Making of a Good VA, Grit, Growth Mindset_ In Week 2, I delved deeper into the world of virtual assistance, learning about the key qualities and skills required to excel as a VA. The training emphasized the importance of a growth mindset and grit in achieving success. I was introduced to the concept of continuous learning and self-improvement. A unique aspect of ALX's training is the weekly Recap Quiz and Milestone tasks, designed to reinforce learning and track progress. I was graded on my performance, with a target score of 70% and above. For Week 2, my Milestone task was Peer-to-Peer Coaching, which allowed me to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting and receive feedback from peers. This week's training laid a solid foundation for my VA journey, and I'm excited to build upon it! #Alxaccepted #learningprocess #virtualassistant

🪇Welcoming Party Soft Skill🪇 Last night, I attended my softskill class #39 welcoming party 🥳 Pre-Embarking on my Digistar Class 2024 adventure, this event provided new friendships and a wealth of knowledge. According to my mentor, kak Avinda Deviana , 'Skills are important, but without good communication and leadership, others won't see your abilities.' This highlights the need for effective communication. 🗣️ In the meeting, I discovered PMI, a decision-making tool that categorizes aspects into Plus (positives), Minus (negatives), and Interesting (thought-provoking elements). I also learned about Emotional Quotient, which involves understanding, using, and managing emotions positively to reduce stress, communicate effectively, empathize, overcome challenges, and defuse conflicts.🤝 And as our class manager, kak Rani Natalia Purba said, "Remember, we can only control ourselves, so stay focus on that!" 🤌 Thanks to Kak Rani for arranging this insightful session. 💬 Communication and Feedback at CoFa We recently hosted a fantastic two-day training session with Svenja Haus (crispycoaching) at our office, focused on improving communication and feedback skills. Open to all our colleagues, no matter if they just joined the team or are at CoFa already "forever", this workshop supports us to give better feedback and communicate more clearly and kindly. The training wasn't just about theory— we got hands-on with role plays and practice sessions. It was a great mix of learning and doing, making sure we can apply these skills in real life. With so many different stakeholders, from teammates to DKB colleagues, effective communication is key for us. Our colleague Miroslav shares his insights in our latest blog post!
