On July 19, during the inauguration of DemoTube we had a chance to celebrate this milestone together with Francois Baudet and Patrick OLIVIER. We're greatly looking forward to all the features we will integrate with this system as our DemoTube grows and adds new subsystems. It integrates Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI), which are essential for visualizing real-time data, managing valves and pumps, and facilitating system checks. ⚡In scientific facilities like the DemoTube hyperloop test track, reliable interfaces and data acquisition are necessary for ensuring precise control, quick anomaly detection, and optimal performance. 🤝In collaboration with EuroTube, ICONICS has developed a sophisticated supervision system for the DemoTube project. This system, already in use during the operation of DemoTube phase 1, aggregates data from Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and IoT devices, providing a unified platform for dynamic and clear control. 🛜The integration of multiple protocols is essential, as the DemoTube infrastructure utilizes various wireless sensing solutions to monitor its lifetime. The simplicity of IoT devices makes them ideal for infrastructure monitoring, offering ease of installation and maintenance. Digital Twins are a great way to get visibility of assets and infrastructure at any level of detail which can aid rapid operational decision making and optimization of operations. This integration combines Nextspace’s global view and navigation of assets with XMPro’s real-time event monitoring, to simplify monitoring at all levels and guide engineers through recommendations to respond faster to critical events. In this IoT integration demo, XMPro monitors sensors in real-time and guides engineers through recommendations. The recommended actions cause the relevant asset to change color in your Nextspace visualization. A green asset changing to red alerts the control room engineers that immediate action is required to avoid damage to the affected asset. A green site-wide alarm changing to red alerts the engineer monitoring multiple sites that one of the sites requires action. In this way, complex data is aggregated and visualized with smooth navigation to the assets in a model view of your digital twin. Your operations management is empowered to make informed decisions.
