Based on actual scenarios and operating conditions, we provide integrated electric drive axle systems for heavy-duty trucks with dual axial flux motors of 150 kW / 188 kW / 230 kW and other power. The maximum power of the electric axle systems can reach 460 kW, which is 30% higher than the traditional central drive system. With a full load of 40 tons, the vehicle accelerates from 0 to 80km/h in only 28 seconds. The top speed can reach 115km/h, and it can easily complete the 38% incline climbing test at a speed of 9.5km/h. This heavy-duty e-axle system can adjust its operating mode according to the load conditions of the vehicle. In high-load situations such as starting, climbing, or when high torque is required, the system can release super kinetic energy of 50,000 N.m. The peak duration exceeds 60 seconds, more than double that of radial magnetic field motors. Conversely, in low-load scenarios such as constant speed or downhill driving, it can switch to "single-axle drive" mode, transforming a "6x4" truck into a "6x2" truck, thereby reducing energy consumption and increasing driving range. PARTNERSHIP: HORSE and WEG to co-develop range extender tech for light commercial and heavy-duty vehicles The #RangeExtender powertrain will be developed jointly, with #WEG supplying critical components such as electric generators, e-motors, electrical inverters and #battery packs. #Horse will own the electronic architecture of the Range Extender, integrating components to meet existing requirements, and will supply the 1.0-litre #HR10 engine and Control Module. Upon completion of the R&D study, Horse will assume ownership of the system and become the supplier to customers.
