They say “if you want to be a lion, you must train with lions” in other words, if you want to be the best in the market, you must bring in the best-in-class people, and now we have our own lion in the team. We launched the new system dedicated to global brands, #ROSS (Reliable Optimized Supply Solutions) which aims to support companies to have 100% control on their global marketing materials spend. It marks the first time a company is being honored during my tenure as Head of People and Culture. In September I stepped into the overall responsibility for all things People related at PIABO, where Steffen Beck laid a more than solid foundation for a special culture. We first met over ten years ago at diffferent, and I trust him immensely. Now my team and I have the chance to help nurture the PIABO vision set forth by Daniela and Tilo, who consistently embody our #values and are always open to being challenged. What I've learned so far in the last 9 month: 👉 Letting go of things is a superpower. 👉 Stepping out of your comfort zone is hard but helps. 👉 Change is the only constant. Flexibility is key. 👉 Most of today's frustrations, anxieties or problems are gone in a few days. 👉 Clear expectation management is the most powerful tool in leadership, even if it hurts sometimes. Last Friday, Mikkel & Jacob Blegvad presented our take on branding to +70 leaders within the EGN Danmark Network. And no, it was not a design presentation, it was about branding as a commercial driver. MAUDEs ambition is to make branding into an unfair competitive advantage and Mikkel and Jacob provided a hands-on perspective on how to move from having a brand to using a brand, from being relevant to creating revenue. The presentation took the participants through 3 overall steps: 🎯 Clarifying your position in the market by understanding your commercial value space ↕ Simplifying your brand into a consolidated description from positioning to value propositions 🔊 Amplifying your brand by translating your value into customer-relevant messaging Thank you to EGN for hosting us and to all participants for being engaged throughout the entire hour (4 drop-offs, which is a pretty good "view-through rate" if you ask me) and asking relevant questions!
