Hot take: I HATE the term work/life balance. 😡 Running multiple businesses is no joke. Between my copywriting gigs, remote sales closing, and building Canyon Pickleball, things get hectic. And let's be honest—finding balance feels like herding cats sometimes. (this is the saying, right? 🤣 ) But here's what I've learned: It's not about splitting time evenly; it's about being present WHEREVER you are. When I'm working, I'm all in. Sometimes, that's 3 hours in my day. Other days, that's 8-10 hours. But when I step away, I make sure to REALLY step away. That means putting the phone down, shutting the laptop, and spending quality time with my family. Picking up my daughter from daycare and being there for my partner when she needs me—that's the stuff that matters. Yeah, there are days when the lines blur, and it's messy. Quick thought: Progress is progress, even if it’s not flashy. 🫡 This weekend, take a minute to relax, look back at what you’ve done, and give yourself some credit. Seriously. Even if you ONLY responded to emails. Enjoy the weekend, recharge, and know you did what you could this week. 💪

Entrepreneurship messes with your head. 😵💫 One minute, you feel unstoppable... The next, you’re questioning every decision you’ve ever made. 😅 It’s a lot. The pressure to keep pushing, make the right moves, and handle everything alone can really weigh you down. And honestly? Mental health can get pushed to the back burner. I know it still does for me (even with therapy every 2 weeks). What has worked for me is taking breaks, chatting with other entrepreneurs, and relying on my support system. It’s a reminder that it’s okay not to have it all figured out. There’s no perfect timeline for scaling your business. ⏳ Everyone’s journey is different. (read that again) 👆 Every ecommerce brand, every freelancer, every business grows at its own pace. You can’t expect to scale like everyone else. So, what do you do? 🤷♀️ DO NOT RUSH! Be careful how fast you scale. Growth, for growth’s sake, can sink your business faster than you think. You need to grow thoughtfully. Be intentional with every move. 🫡 Fast growth might look good on paper, but sustainable, smart growth is what leads to building a business that will LAST. Take your time.
