Sharing our latest Nicholas Institute for Energy, Environment & Sustainability report about recent growth and trends in public electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure across the twelve states in Southeast, co-authored with Nicholas Sommer, LFA. Key data takeaways: - Level 2 charging ports across the region increased by 26%—from 18,235 to 23,033 ports between 2022 and 2023. - DC fast charging ports across the region increased 41%—from 5,268 to 7,429 ports between 2022 and 2023. - Public EV charging ports per capita across varies across Southeast states, ranging from 2.6 to 16.8 Level 2 ports per 100k residents and 3.9 to 12.7 DC fast charging ports per 100k residents through 2023.
