Easter Sunday is just around the corner, and here's how you can lock in those MEGA EVENTS! Now is the perfect time to prepare for the upcoming busy summer months. It's also the ideal opportunity to secure larger bookings from schools, churches, daycares, city parks, and more. While landing these big events may seem daunting, focusing on four key steps will soon have your phone ringing with inquiries from organizations in your area. The 4 steps are S.A.L.E. We utilized the Chamber of Commerce and LinkedIn to identify schools in our area. We then reached out to them with a letter and a printed brochure. This strategy resulted in numerous calls from schools eager to work with us. Mention a donation in the letter to prompt them to contact you. Let them know that you will only be contributing a portion of the event. The donation can be monetary, or you can even donate games that would otherwise be sitting in your warehouse. Feeling ready to tackle those mega events and boost your business? Let me know if you want a copy of the letter format! #BounceHouse #BounceHouseBusiness #PartyRental #PartyRentalMarketing #EasterSeason #SpringSeason #PeakSeason #EasterSunday

Here are some great video ideas for nonprofits: 1. Awareness - tell them what you do 2. Impact - Show how your organization is impacting the community. This can be done with a testimonial or a video showcasing a community project or event. 3. Educational - is there a growing statistic or issue that is effecting your community that your organization is trying to address. Educated your audience more about the issues and how you are looking to solve them. 4. Campaign Updates - show the progress or a fundraising effort or a donation drive that your organization is doing. Be sure to share the goal and how much more is needed to reach your goal.

Here’s a simple way I like to think about donor engagement … it’s a lot like dating. 1. First comes attraction – something about you attracts them, a conversation, an ad, a social media post. 2. Then comes the first date – they research you, see if there is a fit, then they decide if they want to engage. 3. You’re now dating – they’re now interested, they may have donated a few times, they may have come to a few events, they tell their friends about you. 4. You’re now in a long-term relationship – they’re invested in you, they fundraise for you, they donate regularly, they volunteer, they are open to leaving a bequest. It may sound too simple, but so often we overcomplicate things. For the full blog post, see below. https://lnkd.in/eGkZ7CZB

𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗳𝘀 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 - 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀. Charities, when you impose outdated beliefs onto your fundraisers - you kill your own fundraising success. ❌ If you believe, you need to hunt donors down so you can extract cash out of them - you make your fundraising incredibly hard work and ineffective. Because when you treat people like prey - they then act like it (they run and hide from you). ✔️ If you believe there is a community of people out there who share your vision - and your job is to invite them on a mission to achieve it. Then you're already hundred times more attractive and much more likely to grow both your donor base and fundraising staff. 📌 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗽𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝗽𝘆 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹 - 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴. 😀

What’s the perfect balance between frugality and investing? How much should you spend on video? ➡️DIY video will cost several hundred dollars in equipment and personnel time ➡️Hiring a professional could cost from $500 to a few thousand dollars ➡️Use historical data to determine what the video will be WORTH to your org. Example: Historically, one out of every hundred people exposed to your organization will donate, and the average lifetime donation is $100. 2000 video views = $2,000 #missiondrivenmarketing #catholic #communication

Founder & NPO Guru | Helping Visionary Non-Profits in the Educational, Environmental and Socio-Economic, sectors to get funded and thrive | Secured over 25 million dollars in funding | 35+ years of experience
While I wouldn't call it "selling" necessarily, here are three key learnings from sales that translate beautifully to fundraising: 1. Focus on Value, Not Price: In sales, the emphasis is on how the product benefits the customer. Similarly, highlight the impact your organization has on the causes donors care about. Show them the tangible results their contribution creates, not just your budget needs. 2. Build Relationships, Not Transactions: Top salespeople prioritize understanding client needs. The same goes for fundraising. Seek to understand your donors' passions and tailor your approach accordingly. Building trust and a lasting connection fosters long-term giving. 3. Active Listening is Key: Great salespeople are excellent listeners. Apply this to fundraising conversations. Pay attention to donor concerns and aspirations. Their input will help refine your message and inspire more meaningful donations. By adopting these "philanthropic facilitator" principles, we can move beyond "asking" and create a space where donors feel empowered to make a difference through your organization. If only had known this in my days of nonprofit leadership and fundraising. Michelle Benson
