During a recent interview we asked Charles Gunn, Senior Technical Support Specialist at Everlaw, about the most valuable lessons learned from pursuits outside of Everlaw ... ⚡ "One of the most valuable lessons I've learned from DJing is the importance of building and sustaining community. This has deeply influenced my approach at Everlaw by emphasizing collaboration, inclusion, and support among team members. Additionally, curating music that resonates with a diverse audience has taught me the importance of understanding and meeting diverse user needs, which parallels the client-centered approach we strive for at Everlaw. These experiences have instilled a deeper appreciation for diversity and innovation, which are crucial for fostering a progressive and inclusive work environment." Bravo, Chuck! Kudos on your outstanding set on the #SOMA stage at Outside Lands Music Festival! #EverlawyerExtraordinaire #LifeAtEverlaw

At Everlaw I work with the crème de la crème, and not just of #legaltech and #corplegal. When their work hats come off, colleagues tend to be elite in other areas too. Want someone who designs a world-class product experience but also played professional ultimate frisbee? Gregory Marliave = ✅. How about rock stars? Charles Gunn, SaaS technical specialist by day and budding EDM superstar in his off-hours, says "✅." He recently rocked the SOMA stage at Outside Lands Music Festival where folks like #tylerthecreator and #sturgillsimpson graced the mainstages. This is the only job I've had where I can legitimately collect autographs from multiple co-workers.

#SOMA is a dedicated stage for house and techno music at Outside Lands Music Festival. It’s an immersive space designed specifically for electronic music fans, featuring top DJs and artists in the genre. For 2024, SOMA was revamped into an open-air venue in Marx Meadow, enhancing the experience with a state-of-the-art surround sound system, columns of light, interactive visuals, and an innovative "in-the-round" stage design. This allowed festival-goers to get up close and personal with the performers while enjoying an expansive dance area. The lineup included big names like Idris Elba, The Blessed Madonna, Uncle Waffles - and Everlaw's own Charles Gunn, making it a key attraction for electronic music enthusiasts attending the festival!
