Trust me, training matters! IMO the people that think you don't need to be trained in marketing are never allowed to complain about their stakeholders not understanding/calling them the 'colouring in department' 🤦🏻♀️ Most of the success I've had in my career has been down to my ability to properly articulate customer and business needs and turn them into strategy, this is best learned in formal education.

According to Marketing Week this is a minority perspective. Most marketers are not only devoid of any formal training in marketing, they are comfortable with the idea they don’t need it.
