I'm overjoyed to share that after 2 years of hard work, my Master's Thesis, titled "Managed Aquifer Recharge: A Systematic Review of Feasibility Criteria and Knowledge Gaps for Infiltration Basins," has been officially accepted! In my research, I point out areas of uncertainty and lack of knowledge in the field of MAR that are ripe for future investigations, including the tradeoffs between certain planning and operational factors. Here, I'll share the abstract for my thesis, and a copy of the full document can be found on my profile under the "Experience" section.
Throughout this process, I've gained a specialized knowledge of Managed Aquifer Systems, cumulating in a nearly 150 page literature review. I've also refined my professional interests, and hope to shift from environmental remediation work towards groundwater management systems.
I'm excited to be pursuing a position in the ever-growing groundwater management world that is often overlooked and taken for granted, despite its universal importance for our economy, environmental health, and well-being.
