So many people download new software or apps and never end up using them! The problem is that the apps still contain the personal information and passwords you used, which puts you at risk. Regularly review software and applications to remove any that you don’t use. #quicktechtip #techsolutions #lifehack #businesstip #B2BCloudSolutions #miami #fortlauderdale #westpalmbeach

#GetOnlineWeek is well underway, the annual campaign by Good Things Foundation raising awareness of the benefits of getting online. and I'm getting involved in the #ConnectIn5 challenge! With over 8.5mil folk in the UK unable to get online due to lack or access or that don't have the basic digitals skills, what five things couldn't you do if you couldn't get online? I'd find it tricky to... 1. work - impossible without email, teams, laptop and my smartphone! 2. book a blood tests - at my local hospital, you now need to a) have an NHS account b) book an appointment on another online system c) have an email address for appointment reminders 3. take 'sneak peaks' on where my kids are when they are travelling or at Uni 4. save time and money - shopping around online and on comparison sites - has saved ££s on car insurance and holidays 5. bank & shop - you can't really get through the day without online banking / electronic cash... from paying bills or getting your morning train what couldn't you do without your devices and an online connection 🤷♀️ Suzy Farthing Sue Wybrow Suzanne Wheeler Rebecca Wood MIMI #digitaldivide #digitalskills #makeachange

Something that isn’t spoken about enough… We’re all too focused on moving forward, we rarely think we have time to stop to see how adopting new processes can save us time. I’ve lost count of the times I’ve recommended a tool that will save someone so much time and they’ve said “I’m too busy to look into that right now!” How can you be too busy to discover something that is going to save you SO much time?! This is essentially called ‘The Busy Trap’ - the theory that what makes us busy today, keeps us busy tomorrow and so on. We’ve all become obsessed with the notion of moving forward, instead of investing time in refining processes or looking into time-saving tools/resources because of the fear of standing still. In my opinion, half a day taken to understand something that’s going to save you an average of one day per month is far more beneficial than sticking with that forward motion. [proud ad] Since I took the time to look at NordPass to understand how the tool could help me, it's saved me so much time. I used to waste so much time looking for passwords randomly distributed in my Notes app (not secure or time-efficient at all 😂). It saves me so much time just clicking on the NordPass icon and it loads up my password when I’m logging in somewhere. I’ve been lucky enough to work with the incredible team at NordPass to encourage you to stop being obsessed with the notion of ‘moving forward’ and to invest time into saving time. You can use code 'keirapenney' at nordpass.com/keirapenney to get NordPass Business for a 3-month free trial. Remember, 10 minutes today to look into this could save you 30 minutes tomorrow!!! Do it 🫡 #Ad - full disclosure, this is a paid partnership with NordPass who I have worked with for over a year.

Zoomcar has a terrible customer service, making it nearly impossible to contact them. Their app lacks any direct contact option, and users are forced to use pre-designed links, which are useless in fraud cases like mine. After extensive research, I tried emailing host.support@zoomcar.com, grievanceofficer@zoomcar.com, and help@zoomcar.com, but all bounced back. Their customer service numbers 080-68972200 & 080-69809614 are also non-functional. Eventually, I raised the issue on LinkedIn, which finally got a response on September 22nd. During the call, initially they tried to blame me, suggesting I may have shared my OTP, which allegedly enabled the scammer to delete my profile. I firmly denied this, reminding them that I received no cancellation message, only a message stating I had completed my trip, asking me to rate the experience. Only then did they admit the scammer had accessed their system and deleted my account. They offered to blacklist him and refund my booking amount but refused to refund the ₹10,000 I lost, claiming it wasn’t through their app. I argued that the scammer’s ability to delete my account without a trace and the absence of a cancellation message highlighted serious flaws in their app. The scammer exploited their system confidently, likely with insider help. However, they refused to budge on refunding the full amount. I made it clear that the imposter, registered on their platform, should have been verified by their team. Given the circumstances, I told them they should refund both amounts or nothing at all. I then disconnected the call. Later that evening, after my LinkedIn post gained over 200 impressions, the same executive contacted me, asking for proof of the UPI transaction, which I shared along with my correspondence with the scammer. Since then, I haven’t heard from them. Zoomcar’s belief that blacklisting the scammer will solve the issue is shocking. They fail to see that this person, familiar with their system’s vulnerabilities, will likely repeat the fraud. I am deeply disappointed by Zoomcar’s unprofessionalism and lack of accountability. They are more concerned with their reputation than addressing serious security flaws and providing genuine customer support.Zoomcar
Worst place to book a car. Zoomcar is a scam. I booked a car (Booking no. JPSNJVL7S) on 20th Sep for a trip to Haridwar on 21st to perform my mother's last rites. I clearly told Tilak Yadav I needed the car at 6am sharp. I paid INR 8474 via the app and spoke to him 3 times to reconfirm the booking. Despite this, the car didn't arrive on time. I called Tilak for over an hour, and when he finally answered, he demanded an additional security deposit of INR 10,000 directly to the owner via UPI, not the app, to deliver the car in 15 mins. Under pressure, I agreed, but the car never arrived. He cancelled my booking and removed the data from the app, then stopped answering my calls. I demand a refund or will take this to the consumer court Zoomcar

It's truly appalling how Zoomcar handled my experience. After enduring severe emotional and mental trauma due to their incompetence, they showed zero remorse. No apology, no call—nothing. Instead, they outright refused to refund the ₹10,000 that was taken illegally by their registered owner. Just blacklisting the person shows the broken business model they’re running. They didn’t even try to track him down or hold him accountable. He’ll just re-register under a different name and cheat others. This is all happening because of flaws in their system and lack of internal support. At this point, it's not even about the ₹10,000 anymore—it's about warning everyone to stay away from Zoomcar. Don’t fall victim to the same scam I did. Avoid Zoomcar at all costs.
