The study found that actual uptime is only 73.7%, with issues like broken retractor systems, inaccurate station status messages, and unreliable network providers. The report also describes "ghost" stations that don't exist, "zombie" stations that work but aren't listed, and "confused occupancy" where available stalls are incorrectly reported.
