We own 2 Toyota Bz4X EVs, one since April and one since June of 2024. We have about 11k miles on them between the two. These cars come with 1 year of EVgo EVgo charging. We received this email at midnight Monday night: *********** "We’re writing to let you know that your access to the Toyota MY23 bZ4X EVgo complimentary charging plan has been suspended due to activity on your account violating the terms of use of this charging plan.   As a Toyota MY23 or MY24 bZ4X driver, you were given one year of complimentary charging on the EVgo network. This charging plan is subject to terms of use about charging use. The following charging activity on your account violated these terms: Excessive charging within a certain time period indicative of rideshare and/or commercial driving. If you think this warning was made in error, you have two weeks from the date of this email to appeal this warning by filling out this form and explaining the circumstances of your recent charging activity." SUBMIT AN APPEAL *********** I appealed by 9am that morning and have still heard nothing, but neither vehicle can charge without paying currently. So 2 vehicles suspended with no warning or support other than "wait for the response via email". I have made repeated calls only to be told until the escalation folks (I opened a ticket) respond (24-48 hours) there is nothing that can be done, so we have no choice buy to pay for electricity to charge. Understand we got these vehicles because of the EVGO offer and 4 months and 2 months into them, we already are having trouble Toyota North America Will update as to the steps taken by both Toyota and EVGO to remedy this and reimburse as well. As an aside, neither of us use the vehicles for anything other than personal use. 11,000 miles over 6 months for a family with 4 active kids and a 90 miles round trip work commute for one of us, is extremely normal imho. thoughts?
