Hi there, today I'm sharing another project with you ! In this project I participated as a producer, videographer and video editor The script was provided by the client, as well as finalized by me and I handled all other tasks on my own, as well as delegating tasks among my team members These tasks included: • Pre-production: - Scouting locations - Compiling the necessary stock footage and matching it with the main video clip - Developing a shooting plan in accordance with the script - Recruitment and hiring of voice actors, graphic designers, actors, car drivers, etc. • Production: Filming in an urban environment • Post-production (motion design, sound design, video editing, color correction, compositing, tracking). The project lasted one month, during this month we were constantly in touch with the client, discussing all the details of the project. With my video, the client received investment from an investor to create a mobile application for tracking free parking spots for cars 🎬 ✔ #videographer #videoeditor #videoediting #promovideo #apps #cars #mobileapplication #shooting #advertising #london #tbilisi #videoproduction

Senior Digital Designer l Senior Video Editor l Motion Graphics l Social Media Handler (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok)
To All HR hiring for the role of Video Editor, Please keep these things in mind while your hiring process. 1. A Video Editor is not a scientist or a magician who will be having command of all the software out in the market. 2. Tell your company to raise your budget to 15K-20K-30K this is not the right salary, this is a creative job which needs skills that can’t be learned from reading books it comes from experience and editing sense. 3. A Video editor is not a 3D Designer and not every 3D designer is a compositor and not every Compositor knows Illustration and not all the people doing Illustrator knows Photoshop and so on....... So, please stop looking for a person with all these skills, these are all totally different jobs and don't expect this from the same person just like water is different from stone A Video Editor is different from a 3D Animator Or Motion Graphics Designer. 4. In the above-mentioned budget please don't ask candidates to use their machines for the company - NO- pay rent for it. It's worth more than 2 Lakhs or purchases a new machine for them. 5. Last hire a Creative Director from the media field who can understand the kind of candidate you are looking for rather than asking candidates their profiles and judging them on behalf of their previous projects. A Video is not made by a single person, it's teamwork. I would like to say that video editors to create your own character and personality. Don't tarnish your image by putting Mawa and Gutka in your mouth. Thank You This post is for Pakistani video editors.

YOUR VALUE Determining your value in media production involves a multifaceted approach, considering your role, responsibilities, experience level, and unique skills. Whether you’re a department head, a key crew member, or somewhere in between, understanding how to gauge your worth is crucial for career advancement and negotiation. Role and Hierarchy Your position within the production hierarchy significantly influences your value. Department heads like Directors of Photography, Production Designers, and Chief Editors wield considerable influence over the creative direction and execution of projects, reflecting higher value. Similarly, roles with specific technical expertise, such as Camera Operators, Gaffers, or Makeup Artists, are invaluable for their contribution to the visual and aesthetic elements of production. Experience Level Experience adds to your value exponentially. With each project, you gain not only technical skills but also problem-solving abilities, industry knowledge, and professional networks. Seasoned professionals often have a portfolio that showcases their versatility and successes, making them more sought-after. Specialization vs. Versatility Specialization in a niche area, such as drone cinematography, special effects makeup, or historical wardrobe design, can set you apart in a crowded field, potentially increasing your value. Conversely, versatility and the ability to wear multiple hats effectively, especially in smaller productions or independent projects, can also enhance your worth. Reputation and Reliability Your reputation for reliability, creativity, and teamwork contributes significantly to your value. Professionals known for delivering high-quality work on time and within budget are highly valued. Building a positive reputation involves consistent performance, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate well with others. Education and Training While on-the-job experience is crucial, formal education and training in your field can also enhance your value. This might include film school degrees, technical certifications, or specialized workshops. Continuous learning demonstrates your commitment to your craft and willingness to stay updated with industry trends and technologies. Negotiation Skills Understanding your value is one thing; effectively communicating it is another. Develop negotiation skills to articulate your worth and advocate for appropriate compensation and opportunities. Be prepared with examples of your work, positive feedback from past projects, and a clear understanding of market rates for your role and experience level. Networking and Visibility Increasing your visibility through networking can also elevate your value. Attend industry events, participate in workshops and panels, and engage with peers and mentors online and offline. A strong professional network not only opens doors to new opportunities but also enhances your credibility and worth in the industry.

#Heretotalkaboutfilm. Highlight; Film Pre-Production Are you ready to embark on your next film project? Whether you're a seasoned filmmaker or just starting out, mastering the art of #preproduction is essential for bringing your cinematic vision to life. In this comprehensive guide, I'll walk you through the six essential steps of film pre-production, equipping you with the tools and techniques you need to plan and execute your project with confidence. Step 1: Project Plan It's crucial to establish a solid project plan. Traditionally, project plans were scattered across emails, spreadsheets, and documents, making it challenging to keep track of everything. However, with modern tools like Milanote, you can consolidate all your project assets into one easy-to-access place. Your project plan should include elements such as the script, ideas, moodboards, storyboards, and logistics like time and location of the shoot, shot lists, workflow checklist, and gear checklist. Step 2: Brainstorming Every great film begins as a spark of an idea. Harness your creative energy during the brainstorming phase to transform your initial concept into something extraordinary. Brainstorming is a classic technique that helps generate a plethora of ideas in minutes. Explore different themes, characters, locations, and visual styles to ignite your imagination and lay the groundwork for your film. Step 3: Mood board Mood boards are a versatile tool for organizing inspiration and references, whether it's lighting, color palettes, set designs, or costumes. Creating mood boards allows you to communicate your vision effectively to your team, ensuring everyone is aligned with the desired look and feel of the film. Step 4: Storyboard Visualize the key elements of your film with a detailed storyboard. Storyboards are essential for organizing the composition, action, and overall look of your film before production begins. Whether created through traditional sketches or modern digital tools, storyboards help you plan sequences, experiment with shots and angles, and address any potential issues before filming starts. Step 5: Shot List Avoid costly mistakes on set by meticulously planning each shot you need with a comprehensive shot list. Coordinating a shoot can be stressful, but a well-defined shot list ensures nothing slips through the cracks. Include specific shots, visual references, and technical details like camera angles and lighting setups to streamline the filming process and capture every essential moment. Step 6: Call Sheet Organize your crew and talent effectively with a detailed call sheet. A call sheet is a vital document that outlines everything your team needs to know before the day of the shoot, including location details, schedule, contact information, and arrival times. By ensuring everyone is on the same page, you can avoid common pitfalls like tardiness and disorganization on set. #makai_ivan #wandacinemaworld Netflix Showmax CANAL+ Group
