IMMEDIATE HIRING//REMOTE Role- Tableau Developer with Oracle Background Client – FT Solution Remote C2C Location Remote NO GC profiles . Client uses Exo-insight and Alteryx to extract information from PBCS. Data is extracted from a PBCS ASO cube. Much of the data would be available within two different BSO cubes, but all of it is available in the ASO cube.  Client has been working on building extracts out of PBCS for over a year and has made little to no process. The extracts take too long as they are pulling dynamically calculated members across accounts and views (i.e. YTD, QTD). YTD and QTD calculations are not always as simple as adding up the months, but need to be recalculated with the YTD numerator and YTD denominator.  If we can make minor changes to PBCS to support a better Tableau process we can take care of those updates.  There is a concern about managing calculations in both PBCS and Tableau. However, they are open to including calculations in Tableau if the risk of the calculation changing is low.  An example of one of the calculations that takes a long time to extract is primary stats. Each department is assigned a primary stat with a flag in EPBCS. The calculation references the flag and pulls the data for the corresponding statistic. Extracting this dynamic calc from EPBCS takes quite a bit of time. We could migrate the statistics and department flags to Tableau and have that calculate on the tableau side with very low risk that the tableau calculation would change.  They want about 30 analysis across 4 dashboards. Many of the analysis have the same or similar row structure, but have a different view of columns (12 month, PY Comparison, Actuals vs Forecast, etc). All of these analysis currently exist out of EPBCS. They don’t need to match the exact format of the PBCS report, but being able to pull the data into a usable format in excel is important to them.
