Best player of #ChampionsLeague first round 🥇📊 ⚽️ The Champions League has kicked off with the new format. For this competition as well, let's see who the best players of the first round are according to our PEI (Player Evaluation Index). In first place, a familiar face: Antonio Rudiger from Real Madrid, who delivered an exceptional performance despite the Blancos struggling to beat Stuttgart. A surprising second place goes to Christian Pulisic from AC Milan, who seems like an outlier compared to the Rossoneri’s poor performances. Third place is held by Harry Kane of Bayern Munich, who scored 4 goals, although three were from the penalty spot. In addition, several young players deserve a mention: Zeno Debast from Sporting Lisbon, Liam Scales from Celtic Glasgow, Magnes Akliouche from Monaco, and the more well-known Florian Wirtz from Leverkusen. In the table, along with the score achieved, you will also find the current market value (source: Transfermarkt) and the player's age. #ChampionsLeague #FootballData #FootballStatistics #DataDrivenInsights

Strategic leader and investor with international experience, success and connections at the highest levels of sport and esports
With its 8th franchise, Hexagon Cup adds a bit of Gaelic Flair to the Party. The team, led by Enrique Buenaventura Astrid Thams Labayen and Sergio Lewin are like a bunch of fine dining chefs. Thinking strategically about what new audiences they want to bring into this #padel event's orbit, they realised that a missing ingredient was the French-speaking market, but also the #petrolheads that follow Formula 1. After the 2025 edition, would love to see how needles moved around in-venue attendance and viewership figures from #France. If the lineup is closed for the 2025 edition, what nationalities, regions, other fan groups should #HexagonCup target with its 9th franchise? Which franchise owner would bring in a serious amount of new engagement, exposure and follower base? #francepadel #padelfrancais #motorsport #motorsportbiz #padelbiz #padelbusiness #sportsbiz #sportbusiness All The Angles

The final matchday of the Belgian league is upon us and the tension is at its peak! After last year's memorable showdown, where Royal Antwerp clinched the title with a last-minute winner from Toby Alderweireld, this year's title race promises to be just as thrilling! Three clubs are still in contention for the championship: Club Brugge, Union Saint Gilloise, and Anderlecht. Club Brugge enters the final matchday as the favorite, but the title race is far from decided. Here's a breakdown of the scenarios: Club Brugge will be crowned champions if ▪ they do not lose to Cercle Brugge on the final matchday. ▪ they lose to Cercle and both Union and Anderlecht fail to win. Union St. Gilloise will be crowned champions if ▪ Club Brugge loses to Cercle on the final matchday and Union themselves defeat Genk. Anderlecht will be crowned champions if ▪ they win against Antwerp on Sunday while Club Brugge lose to Cercle Brugge and Union fail to win against Genk. In 2008, Hypercube assisted the Jupiler Pro League in reforming their competition, resulting in a more exciting format from the 2009/10 season onwards. The introduction of a split season, creating a top group and bottom group during the competition, has brought about more excitement and opportunities for all clubs. Because the points are halved after the first phase, the decision comes later in the season. This has not only led to improved viewership but also aided in player development through repeated encounters between teams of similar strength. #BelgianFootball #Championship #Excitement

Gearing up for the UEFA Champions League at Wembley! 🏟️ Sport is the craziest field in the world. And why wouldn't it be? It's where dreams are made, where passion ignites, and where the impossible becomes possible. Two years ago, Joselu witnessed the magic of the Champions League final alongside his father, rooting for his beloved Real Madrid against Manchester City. Fast forward to last night, he brought that same Real Madrid to the final of the Champions League with his own feet scoring twice. That's the beauty of sport—it's a journey where fans can become heroes. For Borussia Dortmund, it's been 11 long years since their last Champions League final appearance at the same Wembley stadium. Marco Reus and Matt Hummels are the sole survivors from that memorable run. As the final whistle blows, it marks the end of an era for Reus, who bids farewell to the club after this match. But amidst farewells, there's also the promise of new beginnings. Jude Bellingham stands on the brink of history, poised to clinch the most coveted title in Europe in his debut season at Real Madrid, against his former club. According to reports in Germany, a loss in the final at Wembley may pay off for Dortmund. This is because the agreement with Real Madrid determined that Dortmund will receive a bonus of 25 million euros if Jude Bellingham wins the Champions League. On the other hand, winning the title will bring them "only" 20 million euros but they are willing to lose 5M to win the trophy with the big 👂👂 And let's not forget the unsung hero, the goalkeeper. Manuel Neuer's game epitomizes the highs and lows of this brutal position as a goalkeeper. Despite his brilliance throughout the game, one mistake changed everything. It's a reminder of the fine margins that define success in football.
