Raptee.HV has launched its first electric motorcycle, T30. This high-voltage EV is priced ex-showroom at INR 2.39 lakhs. Deliveries in Chennai and Bangalore will start in January 2025. To date, the start-up has raised $5 million in funding, including equity ($4.1M) and grants. VC fund Bluehill Capital, HNIs including Mr Eugene Mayne, Founder and CEO of Tristar Global (UAE), Ramesh Kannan, Managing Director of Kaynes Technology, and Mr Lakshmi Narayanan, former CEO of Cognizant, participated in Raptee's Pre-Series A round. Stride Green to finance 15,000 assets in the next 12-18 months. Stride Green has so far financed over 1,500 electric vehicles and hyperchargers. It has also partnered with LOHUM to estimate the residual value of batteries at the end of their first life. Stride Green’s Asset Lifecycle Management Platform integrates key players across the value chain—from OEMs and lenders to maintenance and recycling partners—ensuring management throughout the asset’s lifecycle. The platform initially focuses on enabling the electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem but is expanding to support key climate sectors such as renewable energy, green hydrogen, waste management, and circular economy solutions. The Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of Maharashtra, has awarded a tender to Kinetic Green for the supply of 𝟏𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐞-𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐰𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐋𝟏 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐈𝐍𝐑 𝟑,𝟕𝟑,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐞-𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐰. The total awarded value of the tender is INR 3,730,030,000. The tender is for the supply of e-rickshaws with driver training, the driving licenses of women beneficiaries, a comprehensive AMC, and charging points.

The 𝐌𝐀𝐇𝐀-𝐄𝐕 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 focuses on developing key EV technologies to reduce import dependency, promote domestic innovation, and position India as a global leader in the EV sector. Concentrating on three critical technology verticals—tropical 𝐄𝐕 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐬, 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐄𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐬, 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 (PEMD), and 𝐄𝐕 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐧𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 — the mission will enhance domestic capabilities in the design and development of essential EV components. India EV Sales Trend | L5 3Ws - Jan 2024 to Aug 2024 - Uttar Pradesh, Assam, and Bihar registered the 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐄𝐕 𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 in the 3W L5 passenger category, while Delhi, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra registered the highest EV sales in the 3W L5 cargo category. - The 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐄𝐕 𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 in the e-3W L5 passenger category was observed in Chandigarh, followed by Puducherry and Tripura. Noida-based EV-as-a-service solution provider TriGo Electric has raised 500,000 AED (nearly ₹1.13 crores) in seed funding from Deepti Umarani. This funding will support TriGo Electric's efforts in developing EV charging solutions, said a company statement. Trigo Electric founder Dilshad Bajaj received the cheque at IIM Lucknow Enterprise Incubation Center (IIML EIC).

Chennai-based Raptee.HV has launched a high-voltage electric motorcycle T30, equivalent to 250-300 cc ICE vehicles, at 𝗜𝗡𝗥 𝟮.𝟯𝟵 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗵𝘀. Deliveries in Chennai and Bangalore will start in January 2025.
