But what value does the Kitemark hold for young aspiring #engineers? How does it help to shape their choices and set employers apart from the crowd? We recently spoke with Jacob Church, engineering apprentice at Teledyne e2v, (who have achieved the Gold standard ‘Excellent Employer’ status of for the Kitemark 2 years running) regarding what it means to him as a young person for his employer to care enough about their apprentices experiences to pursue accreditation – and why he believes the Kitemark helps other young people to distinguish between employers when choosing where to pursue an engineering apprenticeship.
