We are proud to share the publication of our latest research paper, titled "Acceptance of Cargo Hyperloop in Scandinavia." The research uniquely delves into Cargo Hyperloop as a groundbreaking freight transport solution within Scandinavia, a region distinguished by its advanced technological landscape and strong commitment to environmental sustainability. It acknowledges and highlights the growing shift in focus from passenger Hyperloop systems to cargo Hyperloop applications. It also addresses skepticism regarding feasibility and integration with existing systems by proposing strategic planning, multi-stakeholder collaboration, and comprehensive stakeholder engagement to create a robust foundation for the acceptance and phased adoption of Hyperloop transportation. We were honored to have debuted this research paper at European Hyperloop Week 2024 in Zürich, where we shared our insights with industry experts, leaders, and innovative student teams from across the world. 🔍 In the first call for traffic safety projects in SAFER, we are proud to award funding to two initiatives: 1️⃣ Advancements in the 'KinePose' Framework: Led by Kevin Gildea, Lund University and Jobin John, Chalmers University of Technology, in collaboration with Trinity College Dublin, this project focuses on refining computational modeling techniques to reduce injuries among pedestrians and cyclists. By leveraging the 'KinePose' framework, the project aims to enhance the reconstruction of falls using advanced #humanbodymodels. 2️⃣ Knowledge Transfer for Vision Zero: In partnership with Sanna Eveby and Maria Hakansson, Guidance to Zero together with Suzanne Falk Göteborgs Stad, this project addresses the generational shift in road safety leadership. It aims to bridge generational gaps by updating practices and ensuring the continuity of #VisionZero principles. 💡 The SAFER Idea Exploration Program is integral to our mission of fostering impactful research and innovation in road safety. We're tackling the challenge of sustainable last-mile delivery, exploring innovations like drones, autonomous vehicles, and micro-fulfillment centers. Last mile delivery is one of the most important challenges that e-commerce businesses. When it comes to sustainable packaging and logistics I have big dreams for what the future of LMD(last mile delivery) could look like in highly dense cities.

With the #LIMITLESS infrastructure in #Switzerland, we're taking the viable route to make #hyperloop a reality. Instead of going big right away, we developed a reduced-scale model of our hyperloop system. Because it's just way more efficient: 💡 Small Scale. Big Results: Our reduced-scale approach means we cut costs, streamline logistics, speed up development and testing, all while gathering the insights needed to scale to larger systems. ⭕ Infinite Loops. LIMITLESS Possibilities: Having a closed-loop test track lets us simulate endless hyperloop journeys. Well, almost endless, since batteries have their limits. 💥 Breaking World Records: With our partners from EPFL DESL, we've achieved the longest hyperloop journey ever at LIMITLESS – a record-breaking 5.4 km, hitting top speeds of 50 km/h during the trials. But here's where it gets really exciting: this actually translates into a 64.8 km journey and speeds of 600 km/h in our full-scale hyperloop system! Plus, our pod cruised through a total of 40 km in trials. That's equivalent to 480 km in a full-scale system, roughly the distance from Geneva to Stuttgart or from Chicago to Detroit! 🇺🇸 Scaling Up in the US: Sure, you might not fit in the capsule we're using at LIMITLESS. That's only for testing purposes. But the Swiss success story is paving the way for the full-scale hyperloop track in Colorado, US! 100 meters of tubes have already been laid down, and more are on the way!
