Last year, we assembled a venture rocket ship at Roadrunner. We co-founded three companies in only seven months and recruited an A+ team of builders and operators. But our work has only just begun. We'll have a lot to say about our plans for 2024 in the coming weeks. But rest assured that we'll continue to build deep tech ventures, found new studios in scientific centers, and discover breakthroughs in places too often overlooked by venture. Some great new additions to Wing Venture Capital's Founder Docs project today! Nothing sinks a founder faster than a stupid statement like saying you will be the next hectocorn startup. For those who aren't familiar, a hectocorn is a privately held startup valued at $100 billion. Currently, there are only three in the world, making them as rare as an Australian breakdancer with actual Olympic moves. These are SpaceX, ByteDance, and Shein. What do they have in common? You’re not one of them. While it's great to have dreams, it's better to have achievable goals.
