BREAKFAST WITH PASTOR LENNIE: "Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord. Colossians 3:18" The virtue of submission is a good moral attribute that all Christians must exhibit. In the area of marriage, the principle is clear for the couple; the wife must submit to her husband and the husband must love his wife. It is quite sad sometimes that these principles are relegated to the background, leading to misunderstandings in marriage. In order to maintain sanity in marriage, women desiring to marry should marry men to whom they can submit. Likewise, men should marry women they can love. Marriage is not compulsory; it is meant for those who want to live by the principles God has laid down for Christian marriage. Dear reader, do you desire to get married? Think carefully about these principles and do not be compelled to marry.

To Exceptional Married Men... How is your marriage? In the discussion around why men step out of their marriages, Malcolm X's insights are particularly revealing. He observed that domineering, complaining, and demanding wives could push their husbands to seek solace outside their marriages. This behavior, which he described as "psychologically castrating" their husbands, often led men to seek validation and satisfaction elsewhere, sometimes even from prostitutes. Malcolm X’s words offer a deep dive into the psyche of men who feel emasculated in their marriages and highlight the importance of addressing these issues head-on. Key Insights on the Role of a Wife in Marriage The video transcription discusses the importance of each wife serving a specific purpose for her husband in a polygamous relationship. The speaker emphasizes that while one wife may provide seriousness and balance, another may provide humor, fun, and relaxation. It is suggested that in order for polygamy to work, each wife should focus on fulfilling her own role and not compare herself to the other wives. The key to a successful polygamous relationship is for each wife to stay in her lane and not interfere with the relationship dynamics between the husband and the other wives. #RelationshipGoals #MarriageAdvice #HusbandAndWife #LoveAndLaughter #Polygamy #StayInYourLane #BalanceAndHumor #RelationshipBalance #ViralVideo #vizard

In James 5:16 that we are to “pray for each other so that you may be healed.” That includes husbands praying for wives and wives praying for husbands. Prayer is communication with God, and God communicating with us. Prayer needs to have a fundamental, essential place in every Christian marriage, and it has a powerful collaboration effect for a couple. Healthy communication strengthens relationships, and if prayer is communication with God, regular, sincere communication with God strengthens a person’s relationship with God, as regular, sincere communication between a husband and wife strengthens the person’s relationship with one’s spouse. Case In point: A couple that stays together prays together. If you are a couple, put forth an effort to pray with your spouse every day and you will notice a stronger bond between you and your wife as well as you and your wife's bond with God.

A true story of how two people met, dated, broke up, and then wrote a book together about love. Engaged believers often lose focus of the purpose of marriage, to love and glorify the Lord, before they even get married. They do this because there is so much that goes into the engagement! Claire & Eli desire, through their own story, to encourage couples to not lose focus on the purpose of love and marriage while getting prepared for it. https://lnkd.in/e6v5Daa2

In this passage, however, there is no mention of greater or lesser authority. Why does he speak here in terms of equality? Because his subject is conjugal fidelity. He intends for the husband to have the greater responsibility in nearly every concern, but fidelity is an exception: “The husband does not rule over his own body, but the wife does.” Husband and wife are equally responsible for the honor of their marriage bed.
