You know the times - when the pressures of day-to-day life gets you down. Too much to do. Too many problems. Too little of some necessity but an abundance of some difficulty. No matter the cause, the result is the same: Your strength is zapped, your joy is crushed, and your hope needs to be rejuvenated. Whenever the blues threaten your day, try some of these blues-chasers: Problem: Things seem impossible. Answer: All things are possible with God (Luke 18:27). Problem: Life is often exhausting. Answer: Jesus offers rest for your soul (Matthew 11:28-30). Problem: You can't forgive yourself. Answer: The Lord forgives all who confess their sins to Him (1 John 1:9). Problem: You are afraid. Answer: God will strengthen and help you (Isaiah 41:10). Problem: You are worried and anxious. Answer: Cast all your cares on God, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Problem: You feel alone in this world. Answer: The Lord promises never to leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Trust God's answers for the problems that come into your life. They'll help to chase the blues away.

Facts show that not all believers have the same growth in faith and spirituality; not all congregations want to serve God; In fact, not everyone who has confessed Jesus as their Savior wants to come to worship faithfully. So, many people follow Jesus, but not all of them really know Him. In fact, correct recognition will create a strong basis for recognition. When we know someone well, of course we will easily trust them. This means that we don't have the slightest doubt or fear when we entrust something to him. Moreover, if we know God well, our recognition of Him will definitely be stronger. In many ways, we will be made to believe in His omnipotence, His love, and His help. In fact, when we face problems and suffering, a strong recognition of God creates divine ability within us, so that we are able to continue to hope and rely on God, continuing to believe in His presence and care. Absence Of Prayer Isaiah 40:28-31 28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. 29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: 31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Have you ever heard from a parent, or maybe said it yourself .. "I'm tired of you asking me that" ? You will never experience the Lord saying that to you. HE is never tired of you talking to Him or asking Him things. God wants us to talk with Him, and Matthew 7:7-8 is an invitation to speak with Him about anything. Jesus said if we have a need, we’re to ask; if we seek answers, we’ll find them; if we want opportunities to open up, He will respond when we knock. Even so, many of us don’t spend as much time in prayer as we should. Forsaking prayer can be costly. If we don’t spend time with the Lord, we might find ourselves on a slippery slope, sliding through weariness, discouragement, and doubt. Certain situations take an emotional, physical, and/or spiritual toll—we call these burdens. They can wear us out if we attempt to endure them alone. But God doesn’t intend for that weight to fall on our shoulders. In fact, the Bible tells us to cast those loads on the Lord, who sustains us and “daily bears our burden” (Ps. 55:22; Ps. 68:19). Hauling all our worries and cares around is exhausting because we are not built for such loads. In God’s design, His strength fills the believer to capacity. Picture Jesus’ shoulders just above your own—with Him bearing your problems. The burden may not disappear, but it feels blessedly lighter when you hand it over to the Lord.

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬ ‭NLT‬‬ All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ. Every blessing that God has in His “arsenal,” He has poured out into our lives. Notice that Paul focuses on “spiritual” blessings. In many modern churches, much focus is placed on physical blessings. Health and wealth are emphasized. The prosperity gospel is gaining in popularity in many places in the world. Proponents of the prosperity gospel teach that God wants His followers to be healthy and rich. “it is always God’s will to heal” and “there is no divine purpose for being sick.” Focus is placed on physical healing rather than the gospel, sin, justification, sanctification, etc. Such teaching is dangerous because it gives believers false hope that God will always heal. When He chooses not to (for His own perfect reasons), people are disillusioned and may turn away from Him. Even if they are healed, the focus becomes miracles rather than Jesus. The prosperity gospel is a heretical teaching that is not supported in the Bible. What the Bible does say is here. God blesses us with every spiritual blessing! Forgiveness. Peace. Redemption. Grace. Mercy. Love. Sanctification. Answered prayer. And much more. God is not stingy in what He gives to us. He wants what is best for us. Application: When you are discouraged, take some time and sit down in a quiet place to reflect on God’s blessings in your life. List out those blessings one by one. Write them down on paper. As you begin to remember God’s blessings, it will encourage you and begin to change your outlook.

One of the great challenges of helping those who don’t yet know Christ is faith. From the outside, faith seems to be belief in something that may or may not be true, and for some, it appears too good to be true. “You mean I can be accepted by God with a simple declaration that Jesus is Lord and belief that God raised Him from the dead?” Yes, as long as both are genuinely what you know in your heart to be true. But until you have the faith you cannot know. How then can you have faith? The Holy Spirit moves in our hearts so that our experience becomes what He revealed in Hebrews 11:1. Faith is “the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.” Beloved, we declare the conviction before we fully see. It is as if the world has placed the darkest of sunglasses upon us, but when we declare the conviction, the glasses are suddenly removed and we see the most glorious of sunrises. Before we could not see, now we are overwhelmed with the light! Beloved, do not lose hope for those you love who do not yet see. The Light is there, even in their darkness. Keep praying, keep in communication, keep listening to the Holy Spirit. He alone can move in hearts. And He will provide opportunities for faith to begin to grow in our loved ones, it is our responsibility to simply remain faithful to go and do what He calls us to do.
