Some people are recommended to get mammograms earlier in life than other people are. What's the disconnect? People with an *average risk* for breast cancer are advised to wait until their 40s. However, there are some people who are at *increased risk* for breast cancer who can (and probably should) get a mammogram or a breast MRI before the age of 40. The key is providing young people accessible tools to know whether or not they are at increased risk to develop cancer. #BreastCancerAwareness #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth #GetScreened #Cancerscreening #cancerprevention #cancerdetection #breastcancer https://lnkd.in/gShznhUW

When Maggie, a 41-year old mother of two, faced a stage 2 breast cancer diagnosis, she leaned on her @Private Health Management Personal Care Team to chart the best treatment path. By analyzing her molecular test results and coordinating additional testing, her Personal Care Team provided clarity when doctors gave conflicting answers about her cancer subtype. This led to an effective treatment plan and excellent response. My excellent colleagues, Ross Keller, PhD and Christina Celestino, share Maggie's full story here. #cancer #breastcancer #molecularprofiling #personalizedmedicine #privatehealthmanagement
