This picture shows a state-of-the-art #injectionsystem, which will be used for #subsea #ethanol injection to inhibit hydrate formation in pipelines ensuring 🛡️ safe gas production. It will replace an existing system on an offshore 🚢 FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading) due to the customer’s planned expansion of gas production and to improve the #reliability and #availability of this process. ➡️ The special challenge of this project: After ordering the pumps, the customer realized that the existing installation location had to be changed and that additional process components were required to meet the changed conditions. Due to weight lifting 🏋️♀️ and size limitations in this #FPSO, a 🎀 special skid arrangement was necessary. LEWA was able to provide full support in the ✔️ gas production-specific process layout ✔️ selection of the system components ✔️ creation of a very compact system design ✔️ special skid splitting arrangement 🏆 This is a true success story in which LEWA’s extensive #salesnetwork with a #customerfocused presence, process and design #expertise and procurement know-how were optimally interlinked ⚙️
