👨💻 Developers' Insight: After working on multiple file upload projects, I’ve found that saving only the file name in the database while generating the full file path in the application code is the most efficient approach. 💡 🔍 Here’s why I believe this works best: 📂 Flexibility: Switch from local to cloud storage without database changes. 🛠 Simplicity: Keeps the database clean and organized. ⚙️ Scalability: Ensures your app grows smoothly. This method has proven effective for both small and large-scale applications! 🚀 What do you think? Do you follow a similar approach? #Laravel #WebDevelopment #CleanCode #DeveloperTips #BestPractices

Online advertising is ever-changing, and new challenges come with it. Among these is server-side tracking, a method of tracking users’ activity on websites that rely on cloud servers instead of user browser. This blog post will explore what server-side tracking is, how it works, and some of its benefits and drawbacks compared to client-side tracking. So let’s get started! GTM Server side Tracking Data Collection: Server-side tracking collects data about user interactions by examining server logs or implementing server-side scripts. This method is often used in conjunction with client-side tracking (using JavaScript) for a more comprehensive view of user behavior. #OptimizationMagic Benito Braganza Recaña Jr. #OnlineAdvertising #ServerSideTracking #digitalmarketingexpert #techtrends #AdvertisingInnovation #StayInformed #MarketingInsights #GoogleAdsTip #ConversionTracking #digitalmarketingagencyonline #OnlineAdvertising #ppcexperts #AdCampaign #ROI #marketinganalytics #AdvertisingTips #marketingstrategies #OnlineConversions #AdvertisingTips #digitaladvertising #OptimizationMagic #AdPerformance #MarketingInsights #PaidSearch #AdMetrics

Hoppscotch offers you several ways to interact with and configure your APIs, and one of the coolest is Hoppscotch CLI ⚡️. In our latest release, we've made the CLI even better by adding the ability to connect with other API clients in the Hoppscotch ecosystem 🌎. Running Collections on API Client ⚙️ Using Hoppscotch CLI, you can now run collections and associated environments available on Hoppscotch Cloud and self-hosted instances seamlessly. In addition to passing JSON exports of collections, you can now pass collection IDs to generate the test summary for the collection. To connect to API clients, you will need a Personal Access Token, which you can create by navigating to your profile page. Learn more about how to generate Personal Access Tokens here: https://lnkd.in/gtTB2G4b And, to run collections on self-hosted instances, you will also need to pass the server URL on which your instance is running. Retrieving Collection IDs 📂 👉 Method 1: You can directly copy the command with auto-populated Collection ID by navigating to the “CLI” tab within the “Run Collection” action found in the context menu of each collection. 👉 Method 2: 📍 Click on the three-dot menu icon next to each collection in your workspace. 📍Select Properties from the drop down menu. 📍Navigate to the Details tab within the Properties section. 📍Copy the Collection ID displayed and apply in the command. Retrieving Environment IDs 🌳 📍 Click on the three-dot menu icon present in front of each Environment Label. 📍Choose Properties from the drop down menu. 📍Locate the Environment ID within the Properties section. 📍Copy the Environment ID for your use. Below is a glimpse of a test summary that we generated for one of our APIs. For more context, please read through the documentation 📃 : https://lnkd.in/gBtFsmCK #api #softwaredevelopment #webdevelopment #cli #vue

🚀 Day 12: Backend Progress! 🚀 Today, I dived deep into file handling for my full-stack project. 🎥📁 🔹 Multer Integration: Successfully integrated Multer to handle video and image uploads on the local machine. It’s been a great tool for managing file storage locally! 🔹 Cloudinary Setup: Took it a step further by connecting my local storage with Cloudinary, enabling seamless uploads to the cloud. Now, I can easily move files from my local environment to the server with just a few lines of code. 🌩️ This combo of Multer and Cloudinary is super powerful for managing media files in web applications. Can’t wait to implement more cool features! #100DaysOfCode #BackendDevelopment #MERNStack #Cloudinary #Multer #WebDevelopment #CodingJourney

This is your friendly reminder that you can show/expand the menu and service menus by default in #Azure portal with just a couple of clicks. A hidden menu/collapsed navigation items annoy me every time I log into a new account. To change your defaults, click the settings/gear icon at the top right, go to Appearance + startup views and select "Docked" for the Menu behavior and "Expanded" for the Service menu behavior and then apply the settings.
