Crpto enthusiasts are understandably very happy now that the first bitcoin ETFs have been approved by the SEC, allowing retail investors to get exposure to bitcoin without actually having to deal with all the mechanics. Fund managers are also happy, because of the rich fees attached. But it is excellent to see the power of competition drive those fees down - you can pay Grayscale 1.5% or Blackrock 0.2%. Crypto firm 7RCC is one step closer to launching its Bitcoin-Carbon ETF in the U.S. stock market. 7RCC filed an S-1 application with the SEC for the Bitcoin ETF under the ticker BTCK.
