It was fantastic to share Paul Clarke's huge 50th year anniversary with WSP in New Zealand yesterday (WOW!!) and it made me reflect on whether we will see these sort of impressive milestones in the future? At present it feels more common for people to frequently move between companies for the pursuit of better opportunities, higher salaries, and personal growth. Whilst companies should try their best to retain good people through ensuring they receive competitive salaries and are offering development, there are other benefits to the employee in staying in one place that are sometimes underestimated. Here are some other benefits that I have experienced having spent the past 12 years with a single business; 1) An ability to build strong and lasting relationships with colleagues resulting in a healthier workplace and better collaboration. 2) A deeper understanding of its culture and operations (which is also a benefit to the company in continuity of good culture). 3) Confidence to challenge the norm due to deeper feeling of personal investment in the business. 4) Better opportunities for development due to the companies clearer knowledge and trust of you, your strengths and what you can get done! 5) More long term satisfaction through experiencing the companies journey, challenges and achievements. Once again, Congratulations Paul, it's been a real pleasure to have worked with and learnt from you and thanks for your impressive commitment to WSP.

I learn so much from them every day! 3️⃣ Uplifting Next-gen Talent: Witnessing the impact our employers have on the growth and development of early talent has been immensely rewarding. HAPPY 3 YEAR WORKIVERSARY TO ME! Having had a long standing connection with Arcadis as a partner and through friends, I have always valued stability and loyalty in my career. Unlike those who frequently change companies, I dedicated 24 years to my two previous employers. When I was considering my next move three years ago, I reached out to a friend who happened to work at Arcadis for advice. He urged me to join this organization, and it turned out to be a transformative decision. Starting in the PM/CM group and later transitioning to the role of Global Program Manager for Mobility, I have had the honor of shaping the "Accelerating a Planet Positive Future" strategy presented on Capital Markets Day. I am immensely grateful to my counterparts in our other Global Business Areas (GBAs), Bonnie Schoenmakers MCMI ChMC, Vince Ko, Paul Lavallee and Caroline Caglioni, for their dedication and visionary thinking. Working together has been an amazing whirlwind, and I consider you lifelong companions. I also extend my heartfelt thanks to the strategy team led by John Horst, in partnership with Lucy Williams MCMI ChMC and Sammie Thomas, PE, for guiding us in the right direction. Our exceptional leaders in the GBAs - Greg Steele for Mobility, Heather Polinsky, PMP, F. SAME for Resilience, Mark Cowlard for Places, and Juud Tempelman-Sassen for Intelligence - inspire me with their remarkable leadership. I am genuinely excited to witness their bold visions become reality. Being part of a company that takes tangible actions to create a better world, with sustainability as a core value, truly inspires me. Our people-first culture and commitment to achieving a workforce comprising over 40% women resonate deeply with me as a mixed race female who has advanced the ranks in the construction sector. On a personal note, I unfortunately will be out on medical leave starting Thursday for spinal surgery.
