I had the opportunity and privilege in 2020 to experience what does digital / people transformation mean in the workplace. It was exciting at the same time chaotic-but I love the whole experience. From traditional work cultures and styles to embarking on new reforms. At first, there were a lot of white noise-some rather monstrous as well (ha!), soon, as the Captain of the Ship (The CEO of the company) forces through the sails of stormy waters, you see the real change. The saying "Rough seas make stronger sailors. Tough times build greater people." As automation and people transformation moved in tandem. People were putting a lot of their own effort in making better days in the workplace. Many people then saw the benefits it came with it. The workplace became a very dynamic and cohesive place. This transition only took merely 6 months. It all started with what needs to change and doing it-starting with PEOPLE FIRST. Today, "they" will always be my point of reference of how change can happen with the right mindset and beyond fears. I'm forever grateful for the experience and trust. What I've learned from driving transformation is- it only becomes hard because of the fear of the unknown. Trust. What seems familiar is hard to let go. What we need to realize is that-when we don't move with times, we are left behind from gaining the best or better talents, sometimes market share. The best step to do-sometimes is just plunge into the unknown. Take the leap forward.
