Unveiling Hidden Racism and White Privilege in Non-Profits: A Call for Equity Major non-profit organisations must confront hidden racism and white privilege within their ranks to advocate effectively for marginalised communities. This article sheds light on the challenges faced by these communities within non-profits and calls for dismantling systemic barriers. Non-profits often project equality, but fail to address systemic racism and white privilege within their structures. This perpetuates inequality, hindering progress for marginalised communities. Lack of diversity in leadership roles, tokenism, performative activism, and funding disparities further exacerbate the problem. To become true agents of change, non-profits must prioritise diversity, inclusive decision-making, and open discussions about race and privilege. It's time to dismantle systemic barriers and advocate for equity and justice. Let's strive for a more inclusive future. #EquityInNonProfits #InclusionMatters
