Great visualization by Action First Aid of the effects of chest compressions to save lives! Chest compressions, a cornerstone of Action First Aid, are important in saving lives. By manually pumping the heart during cardiac arrest, they sustain blood flow, buy crucial time, and increase the odds of survival until advanced medical help arrives. This universally accessible technique empowers individuals to be immediate responders, minimizing brain damage and amplifying the chances of positive outcomes. It's a simple yet critical link in the Chain of Survival, epitomizing the difference anyone can make in an emergency. Check #mehrtashsoltani for more!

A heart attack occurs when circulation to arteries supplying the heart muscles gets blocked and the heart muscle starts eventually starts dying, a cardiac arrest occurs when the hearts electrical system malfunctions and the heart stops beating. A heart attack can progress to cardiac arrest and this is why it is important for everyhousehold to atleast have one person who knows how to do a CPR (Cardio-Pulmlnary Resuscitation).
