It helps you improve the branding/context of your games, to showcase overseas supply. For example, simulate constraints on the Suez or Panama canals. Or let players experience the difficulties of uncertain delivery dates. Other things you can do: - Integrate a variable lead time, - Add a maximum order quantity (eg. capacity constraint), - Add purchase and sale prices when stakeholders order stock from each-other. Monopoly GO's Tycoon Racers event is a great example of player choice incentivizing further engagement. At first glance, the setup of Tycoon Racers is very similar to their previous events, where you have to team up with multiple players towards a common goal. The catch? You are now competing against other groups to get the top score! Teams go head to head with 3 races throughout the event, ensuring players are engaged throughout the whole time. Players can often get discouraged and disengage if only one main scenario occurs. This helps to keep the loop fresh and engaging. Not only that, but as you get rewards, players actually have to choose between currency or event points! This introduction of choice hones in on what the player's priorities are and what they want to do to progress in the event. It's not like you can finish the race and be done. The team has to constantly have the top points until the time period is up, which forces players to continue to play and come back. The results? The final detail I’d like to share from our “re-imagined” Sportsbet racecard. • Short-Form Detail Merging Why? - The duplication of details such as jockey names & runner stats (modes) when expanding short-form was inefficient and created visual noise. By absorbing this information into the short-form display, customers now have all the relevant information housed within a single component.
