at NUGAE we are following a different yet complementary approach that significantly distinguishes itself from other #LFAM proposals: we print structural components and cores using the minimum amount of material possible, with 1-2 mm nozzles for minimal thickness, drastically reducing waste and scrap, and eliminating the need for molds and milling (something many still continue to do even in additive manufacturing). Our main activity being in the boating industry, it would be interesting to explore if and how these two approaches can combine.
