This is so realistic indeed) In almost every case companies introducing sustainability agenda and organisation face realities of widespread perception that there is some ONE responsible. Be this a manager or a unit, but once its is there - all 'non traditional' issues are then addressed to them to take care... SD agenda is actually not idle. It is about transformation throughout. We talk and do a lot about business processes, corporate cultures, organisational change, and strategic decision making to make clients sustainable! This requires efforts from all.

After seeing this meme online, we could not help but to write a comment: 🌍 Elevating Sustainability: A Call for a Multi-Disciplinary Approach 🌿 In today's business world, sustainability isn't just a buzzword – it's an imperative for any corporate strategy. Entrusting sustainability to a lone individual, without a multi-disciplinary team, poses substantial risks. A singular focus overlooks the interconnected challenges spanning environmental impact, social responsibility, economic viability, and governance. The limitations of a sole approach are clear: a narrow perspective, potential oversight, and a lack of diverse expertise. Sustainability demands a holistic view that a one-person team may struggle to provide. This lack of diversity in expertise can lead to skewed prioritization and limit effective communication and collaboration within the organization. To truly make sustainability a core pillar of corporate strategy, it must be woven into the executive fabric. A multi-disciplinary approach ensures a balanced consideration of environmental, social, and economic factors, fostering collaboration across functions. As the global focus on sustainable practices intensifies, organizations need strategic, multi-disciplinary teams to navigate complexities and make a meaningful impact. Let's embrace collaboration and build a future where sustainability isn't just a goal but a shared journey. 🌐💼 #Sustainability #CorporateStrategy #CollaborationForChange

The business case for sustainability is growing and getting harder to ignore, especially for manufacturers. Check out this great article that features Christa Kananen comments from a recent event. #wisconsinsustainability
Check out this great article about the business case for sustainability, with great quotes from our Christa Kananen Sustainability in the business sense, Kananen said, “is the pursuit of a business’s growth strategy that creates long-term stakeholder value by seizing opportunities and managing risks related to the company’s environmental and social impacts.” “The way (WSBC) recommends companies engage in sustainability is as a core part of how you do business – integrated into your business strategies, integrated into the fabric of your organization,” she said. “A lot of times, we’re helping companies move from random acts of environmentalism, into a true strategic approach to sustainability.” https://lnkd.in/gQzwMs7y
